Cheran-Prasanna starrer ‘Muran’ is all set to become one of the shortest films of Tamil cinema. For, the movie will have an approximate running time of one-and-half-hour, according its director Rajan Madhav.

Rajan, son of popular Malayalam music composer M Raveendran says, “Muran, with a running time of 90 minutes, is a new attempt in Tamil cinema. I am hopeful that the audience would accept it”.

Throwing more light on the film, he says, “It is a subtle thriller which revolves around two men who have totally contrast ideas about life. What happens when the two meet at a single point is what the film is all about”.

Heaping laurels on Cheran and Prasanna, Rajan says, “Cheran breathes cinema as the man has immense knowledge in filmmaking. I know Prasanna for a longtime and it was my aim to make a film with my friend.”
